A true story about the last days of the war in Peilstein/M. - three days in April in which the actions of courageous men became a symbol of fire: an act of resistance, paid for with their lives.
The Kirchberg ob der Donau cultural community would like to use the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Second Republic in 2025 to stage a war drama in Kirchberg. This will be the world premiere of the play "Feuerzeichen" by Oskar Zemme.
This play is based on a true story that took place in Peilstein, Upper Austria, during the last days of the war in 1945.
As this is a major production, a large part of the local population is invited to take part.
The premiere is October 10, 2025 in the former Hartl joinery.
