The big highlight of the Landesmusikfest 2024 will be the closing event in front of Linz Cathedral on Saturday evening. Under the name "Blasmusik am Dom", brass music of the highest perfection will be played from 8.00 pm. The regional brass orchestra, which is made up of musicians from the member bands of the Upper Austrian Brass Music Association, will perform a musical firework display under the overall direction of regional bandmaster Günther Reisegger and the President of the Upper Austrian Brass Music Association Hermann Pumberger. With multimedia sound and lighting technology and international soloists, the entire repertoire of a modern wind orchestra will be presented.
