Botanical garden - an experience for the senses

The Botanical Garden brings nature experience in theory and practice. A modern seminar room offers space for lectures, presentations and exhibitions. Lectures or guided tours are held regularly as part of the garden practice. Experts are available to answer all questions from amateur gardeners. 

The City of Linz Botanical Garden combines nature and culture. Sculptures by Austrian artists amidst the greenery and a varied program of lectures, exhibitions and events make the garden a place where people and culture meet. During the summer months, concerts and readings are held on the open-air stage. This offers space for 100 visitors and the atmospheric ambience invites you to experience culture in the open air. The Café Orchidee provides culinary delights with seating terraces and a view of the greenery.
