Wine & Delights Linz 2027

The start of the new wine year with the fine Vinaria trade fair WEIN & GENUSS Linz is already a fixture for wine lovers

The WEIN & GENUSS Linz event, organized by Vinaria, traditionally marks the start of the wine year in Austria. Around 200 winemakers from all over Austria will present well over 1,000 wines in Linz. There will be many white wines from the current 2024 vintages and the first promising examples from 2025; for red wines, the focus will be on the 2021 through 2024 vintages.

The winemakers come from all of Austria’s wine-growing states, including tasting winners, trophy winners, SALON winners, and state champions. Lower Austria, by far the largest wine-growing region, will also provide the largest regional delegation among the approximately 200 winemakers. The Styrian winemakers will host a “fair within the fair,” and the Vulkanland region of Styria will even present itself as a complete gourmet destination.
