24 Hours of "Waldhausen Hikes"

The event is part of the “Hiking Brings People Together” series. Guided hiking adventures invite participants to discover the Danube region of Upper Austria together. The focus is on experiencing nature, regional highlights, culinary delights, and exploring these hospitable communities together.

We’ll set off together at 12:00 p.m. —with an official opening and welcome right at the trailhead. That’s also where you’ll find the hiking passport: Anyone who participates in four “Hiking Brings People Together” events can look forward to a surprise prize. After all, being out and about together should not only bring people together but also be rewarded.

Distance: 80 km | 24 hours | 0 nights

Date: September 5–6, 2026 | 12:00 p.m.

Meeting point: SCU Clubhouse, Markt 191, 4391 Waldhausen

Once again, we’ll be hiking around our beautiful Waldhausen around the clock for a good cause and for our well-being. The focus here is clearly on having fun while being active. You can join us for individual sections or the entire distance. The pace will be set so that anyone who enjoys hiking can join in.

The starting point for each section is the SCU soccer clubhouse.
Start: Sat., Sept. 5, 2026, 12:00 p.m. Finish: Sun., Sept. 6, 2026, 12:00 p.m.
During breaks, participants will be offered light meals and beverages.
Everyone who participates donates a small amount of money, which will be donated to a charitable cause.
This year’s closing event will take place at the 10th-anniversary celebration of Berger Wasser & Heizung.
