Family Knight Festival 2024

With medieval sounds, imaginatively dressed artists and brave knights on horseback, the Family Federation Knights' Festival on Saturday, 6 July heralds the start of the summer holidays. 

Between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m., visitors to Linz's main square, the old town and Linz Castle can look forward to numerous spectacular, fun and musical programme items with free admission.
Special highlights include the jousting tournaments with horses, the Bluatschink concert, the Kids Arena with craft and hands-on stations and pony riding. The castle museum also opens its doors and there are guided tours of the Landhaus Tower. The grand finale is the fire spectacle on the main square. Nobody will go hungry, as the medieval market provides culinary delights. Handicrafts and ancient paraphernalia can also be purchased.
