Christkindlmarket Perg

The wide range of exhibitors at the "Perger Christkindlmarkt" extends from nativity scenes and woodwork to ceramics and Christmas tree decorations, sheep's wool products, jewelry, candles and original ideas for Christmas. The talents of the artists are presented on site with a lot of love for handicrafts. In the open-air area, regional Advent enjoyment is on the menu of the innkeepers, confectioners, butchers and rural direct marketers.

During these three days, children can visit the craft room, draw candles, take round trips with the London stick bus and spin the Mükis wheel of fortune. On Saturday and Sunday, between 2pm and 4pm, St. Nicholas will also visit the market and surprise visitors. Popular with young and old is the "Living Nativity", which will take place again this year.

In Perg the innkeepers spoil the visitors at the Christkindlmarkt Perg with typical Advent delicacies such as Bratwürstel, Bosna, various game specialties, Spätzle or Raclette breads. And the bakers and confectioners prepare their sweet offerings - fresh farmer's doughnuts, fruit skewers, foam rolls and Perger kisses. There are also many delicacies to take away: cheese, bacon, smoked fish and fresh baked goods from local bakers.

Choirs, wind ensembles of the music associations, the marching band and ensembles of the regional music school Perg form the music program. Bands from the region entertain on the evenings with pop, swing and soft jazz sounds. Thus, in addition to the culinary delights of the gastronomy, there will be many a feast for the ears to hear in Perg.
