Partial lock: Hiking Trail Closed Due to S10 Construction Site

Description: The hiking trail between Rainbach and Kerschbaum is currently closed until further notice due to construction on the S10. Access to Rainbach is not possible along this section. Please follow the detour signs posted on-site. There are no rest stops along the detour route. Thank you for your understanding.

For the Czech area, it is recommended to travel by train (regional train) due to the lack of hiking trails or sparse signposting.
Stations: Summerau, Bujanov, Holkov, České Budějovice
Bujanov station can be reached by train from Linz in the direction of Budweis, several daily connections. By car via Freistadt and Rainbach im Mühlkreis to Summerau and by train to Bujanov (if you get on in Summerau: Buy tickets to the border and for the route in the Czech Republic from the conductor)

The entire route from Kerschbaum i.M. (km 0) to Leopoldschlag (km 6.5) crosses the border to Bujanov / Angern (km 22.5) and is not signposted.
