Description:
The Smugglers`Trail starts at the centre in Neustift and runs across the national border to Gottsdorf to Neujochenstein Ruins. Then follows the way down across the Donauleite nature reserve to Jochenstein Danube powerplant and the "Haus am Strom" interactive museum. This is followed by another steep climb up to Penzenstein Danube view and the panoramic view in Grossmollsberg. Then the circular trail leads via Forstedt back to Neustift. Particularly popular are the re-enacted smugglers`s tours from Gottsdorf to Neustift (group and bus programme).
