Preserving tradition, shaping the future
The Musikverein Waldhausen sees its cultural mission as being caught between the preservation of traditional brass band music and openness to modern developments and contemporary music.

Our repertoire ranges from classical marches and polkas to symphonic brass music and modern arrangements of current pop and film music. This versatility allows us to appeal to a wide audience and to inspire new generations for brass music.

The musical education and promotion of young people is particularly important to us. Through our close cooperation with local schools and music schools, we give children and young people access to music and offer them a meaningful leisure activity within a community with strong values.
