Johannes Kepler Observatory

Gaze at the stars.
The Sternwarte of the Linz Astronomical Community (LAG), opened in 1983, is located at the Freinberg in Linz and is open to the public. It is equipped with a computer-controlled Cassegrain mirror telescope, which has a main mirror with a 500mm aperture and a focal length of 5m. This instrument is supplemented by an apochromatic fluorite refractor with 130mm aperture and 1200mm focal length.
The Johannes-Kepler-Sternwarte Linz regularly offers public heavenly observations, astronomical lectures and courses.
