theatre tabor

theatre tabor is an independent group with many performances for adults and children in Upper Austria. The professional, independent theatre group theatre tabor was founded in December 2000. On average, 3 plays are staged each year, including several world premières in German-speaking countries. theatre tabor is recognised not only by its ever-growing regular audience, but also in international professional circles. In October 2001, for example, the theatre won the coveted award for the "best performance of a Russian classic" at the Magnitogorsk International Theatre Festival in Russia. Another highlight is the successful participation in October 2002 and 2004 at the International Theatre Festival "Golden Lion" in Lvov (Lemberg) in the Ukraine.
