Leonding, Oberösterreich, Österreich
"Jetzinger Cross" - also called "Red Cross" The "Red Cross Column" first appeared in historical boundary surveys in the year 1648. It was described as standing next to the official boundary stone.
The "Josephine Survey Book" called the same location "Jetzinger Cross" and explained it as a boundary stone.
The Cross you see today probably was installed in the year 1826. This wooden wayside shrine included a tin plaque commemorating the death of a female pilgrim in 1826.
