The famous Austrian Expressionist Alfred Kubin had chosen Zwickledt in Innviertel Region as his place of residence and inspiration for his artistic work.
In 1906 he acquired Zwickledt Castle, to which he retired until his death in 1959. This is the place where he created the major part of his artistic work and where he wrote his novel, "The Other Side", which finally brought narrative to his graphic work.TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS & THURSDAYS: 10:00am - 12:00pm and 2:00pm - 4:00pm
