On display is one the most considerable collections of Roman findings in Austria.
The former Town Hall on the Enns downtown square today houses the worthwhile Lauriacum Museum. This Museum is dedicated to the Romano-Austrian history Lauriacum, the Roman name for what is now called Lorch. The museum offers a truly fascinating and educational experience with many artifacts recovered from archaeological excavations in the Enns site on display. The Museum features special departments on prehistory, the history of technology, and ethnic studies. What´s more, it´s home to the Old Enns Gallery, a weaponry collection hall, a memorial room commemorating the Georgenberg Handfeste of 1186, and memorabilia of famous citizens of Enns.
