The visitor gains an insight into life in a medieval castle and into the history of the Counts of Clam who have been living in their castle for over 550 years.

Architecture - History



The Counts of Clam have lived in this mighty fortress for over 550 years.

The tour of the castle begins in the three-storey Renaissance arcaded courtyard and leads through the castle pharmacy, armory and chapel to the living quarters of the Counts of Clam.

In addition to several guest rooms, the former breakfast room, which now houses a unique porcelain collection, is also on display. During the tour, visitors gain an insight into life at the medieval castle over the centuries and up to the present day.

Group bookings of 10 or more people with 72 hours' notice are welcome at any time by direct registration at museum@burgclam.com
