Green oasis in the middle of the city

Take a short break and enjoy nature. The botanical garden on the Gugl is one of the most beautiful in Europe. Over 10,000 different plant species can be marvelled at.

The extensive annual program includes lectures, concerts, art exhibitions, and special tours, as well as activities for children. In five greenhouses, exotic plants in particular display their splendor.

Special educational materials for various age groups (elementary school, middle school/NMS, and lower-level AHS) are available free of charge at the ticket office for school groups.

Guided tours for school groups are available upon request.

Starting in September 2026, the greenhouses will be closed to visitors for approximately two years. Thank you for your understanding!
The outdoor grounds are open as usual and always worth a visit!
