Day 1 - Arrival in Passau - Enjoyment by the river
You will travel individually to Passau and check into your comfortable hotel in the old town - surrounded by traditional inns and venerable restaurants. After handing over the travel documents and rental bikes, we recommend a three-river boat trip, a Danube aperitif to get in the mood. Afterwards you will enjoy a 3-course evening menu in a typical Bavarian beer inn.

Day 2 - From Passau to the Schlögener Schlinge, approx. 50 km
You cycle downstream to Engelhartszell, where the only Trappist monastery in Austria is located. By the evening in Obermühl at the latest, things get serious in culinary terms: After a pear frizzante called 'Donauperle', you will be served a three-course beer culinarium: each dish accompanied by a Mühlviertel beer speciality. Cheers, meal!

Day 3 - From the Schlögener Schlinge to Linz, approx. 45 km
Between hop fields and tavern culture, you cycle to Linz. On the way, rustic restaurants invite you to enjoy a Brettljause with Mühlviertel beers. In the old town of Linz, the classic awaits: the Original Linzer Torte – in a traditional coffee house with Melange or Big Black. In the evening, enjoy a 3-course dinner in the city centre or in the hotel restaurant.

Day 4 - From Linz to Ardagger, approx. 60 km
The Danube accompanies you past the Enns, orchards and quiet floodplain landscapes to the Mostviertel. There it smells of hay, apple blossoms and fermented pear cider. The 'Spezerei' in Ardagger Abbey offers cheese, chutneys and spirits. In the evening you can enjoy 3-course Mostviertel inn cuisine with soul.

Day 5 - From Ardagger to Maria Taferl, approx. 45 km
Today you cycle through the wildly romantic Strudengau and leave Upper Austria's beer and cider behind you - welcome to the wine country! High above the Danube sits Maria Taferl. The evening ends in a noble way: In the gourmet restaurant of the Hotel Schachner you dine with a view - of the plate and the valley.

Day 6 - From Maria Taferl to Weißenkirchen, approx. 50 km
After the magnificent Melk Abbey, you will immerse yourself in the Wachau. Vines, winegrowers' villages, apricot trees – everything looks like something out of a picture book. During a commented tasting, you will learn: an emerald is not a gemstone here, but a wine with character. In the well-known hotel restaurant, you can enjoy Wachau delicacies as part of a 3-course menu.

Day 7 - From Weißenkrichen to Vienna, approx. 45 km + train ride
From Krems, the train takes you to Tulln, from where you cycle through the Viennese suburbs and vineyards. At the wine tavern, the Viennese Gemischter Satz greets you, and in the city centre the crowning glory awaits: a visit to the imperial and royal court confectioner Demel – for the sweetest memory of your trip. In the evening, you can enjoy Austrian delicacies in the hotel restaurant or in an old Viennese inn.

Day 8 - Return or extension in Vienna
After breakfast, your journey of pleasure ends. In seasons A and B, the return journey is comfortably by train (please note: own bikes are not included). In season C, you can travel comfortably back to Passau by bus – or treat yourself to a few more enjoyable days in Vienna. Coffee house culture, Naschmarkt, schnitzel? The journey can go on a little longer.
