Day 1 - Individual arrival in Passau
Your cycle tour along the Danube cycle path starts in Passau in Germany. Check into your room and hand over your cycle tour documents at the hotel. The rental bikes for your cycle tour along the Danube Cycle Path are handed over at the bike rental desk. Hotel example: Hotel Passauer Wolf in Passau

Day 2 - From Passau to the Schlögener Schlinge, approx. 40 km
Let yourself be enchanted by the charm of the three-river city of Passau before you start your first cycle tour along the Danube Cycle Path through the Upper Danube Valley towards Schlögener Schlinge. Admire the mighty natural spectacle of the Danube in Upper Austria: the river meanders around the granite rock of the Mühlviertel region. Day 3 - From the Schlögener Schlinge to Linz, approx. 55 km
This stage of your cycle tour along the Danube starts in the Schlögener Schlinge. You leave the wooded hills of the Upper Danube Valley and cross the expanses of the Eferding Basin on the cycle path to the Danube city of Linz. Day 4 - From Linz to Grein/surroundings, approx. 60 km

Day 5 - From Grein/surroundings to Melk/surroundings, approx. 50 km
Enjoy your cycle tour in Austria through the impressive landscape of the Strudengau and Nibelungengau regions to the Wachau. This has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Austria for years. Day 6 - From Melk/surroundings to Krems/surroundings, approx. 40 km

Day 7 - From Krems/surroundings to Vienna, approx. 45 km
The last cycle tour of your cycle tour in Austria is coming up. Today you cycle to Tulln. In Tulln you board the train to the Danube metropolis of Vienna, the capital of Austria. A wealth of sights await you in the federal capital of Vienna: the magnificent buildings on the Ringstrasse, Schönbrunn Palace, the Hofburg, the Prater and of course the Viennese coffee house tradition, which tempts you to enjoy a bowl of Melange. Day 8 - Return journey to Passau or additional nights
