Day 1, arrival in Passau

Via Obernzell and Engelhartszell (abbey) to the natural wonder of the Schlögener Schlinge or on to Aschach. Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼hotel.

Through the sparsely populated Engtal valley via Eferding (castle, parish church) to the EU Capital of Culture 2009. 1 x additional overnight stay with breakfast from € 62 per person in a double room including € 20 shopping voucher. Overnight stay in a 4☼☼☼☼ hotel.

Cycle along the Danube cycle path through the Machland region past the Abwinden power station to Mauthausen and your destination for the day. Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼hotel.
