The G(K)unst of local history research - what was or is true

"Die G(K)unst der Heimatforschung - was or is true" is dedicated to living local historiography. 

Local historians and regional museums preserve everyday history, strengthen regional identity and add important voices from below to the institutional perspective. At communale oö 2026, an entertaining stage and discussion format about the Peasants' War of 1626, accompanied by Sigi Kristöfl, is being created at 10 Mut locations. It makes historical contexts understandable, pays tribute to the work of local history researchers and invites the public to rediscover local history.
