On a hike to the Gschwendtalm, we encounter witnesses of long-past days. Unremarkable stones and spectacular reef limestones unveil many secrets about the formation of the landscape. A collection of typical age-ordered rocks and fossils helps us understand the geology of the Hintergebirge.

Suitable for: Tour for those interested in geology.

Requirements: The guided tours on the fixed dates are reserved for private individuals. We ask groups of 10 people or more, companies, schools or other organizations to contact the respective visitor center.
