Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare, adapted by Iris Harter . The recipe for the perfect comedy of mistaken identity? A pair of twins? Let's ask Master Shakespeare. - It rings a bell. The connection to the 16th century is surprisingly good. Two! - Two sets of twins, says old Will. And he must know. In accordance with the classic theater rule "More is more!", a lusty clockwork of madness is set in motion here. Framed by a backdrop that is certainly suitable for a tragedy, the story of a family reunion with obstacles is told in a firework of punchlines and music. Spoiler: Happy ending included! In summer 2025, the Theater im Hof Enns will present its version of Shakespeare's turbulent slapstick play with a tried-and-tested ensemble in the wonderful inner courtyard of the Lauriacum Museum with its Mediterranean flair.
