The duo not only translates music by the baroque master Telemann into the present day, it also interprets melodies by Astor Piazzolla or John McLaughlin in a very personal way.
Jazz meets Telemann - as succinct as this title might be, it falls short. The two musicians Georg Grazer and Klemens Bittmann not only interpret the music of Georg Philipp Telemann in their own very personal way, but also well-known melodies by Astor Piazzolla and John McLaughlin as well as their own compositions. From baroque to improvisation, Georg Gratzer and Klemens Bittmann have been illuminating and enlivening the most diverse forms of interplay in unusual instrumentation since their time as students together.
