Christophorus Fountain

Created in 1963 by Prof Hans Wimmer, Munich. The large basin symbolises Schärding's abundance of water, shipping, the electric current from the Inn power stations and the cold and warm water cures, but also the danger of flooding to which the town is constantly exposed.

The St Christopher's Fountain can be visited every day.
