The Linz Parish Church Roman-Catholic church building.

It was built at the beginning of the 13th century in Romanesque style as a three-nave basilica and is dedicated to the Assumption of Mary.
The present choir was probably built around 1490 and Gothic ribbed vaults can still be seen under the tower in the entrance hall. On the portal side of the church, a relief stone reminds us that Anton Bruckner was organist here from 1855 to 1868. On the outside, in a marble niche, there is a statue of St. John Nepomuk by Georg Raphael Donner (1727).

The high altar is by Matthias Ludwig Krinner and Johann Kaspar Modler (1771), the altarpiece of the Assumption of Mary was painted by Karl von Resfeld in 1695 and the ceiling fresco by Bartolomeo Altomonte.

In 1493, the entrails and heart of Emperor Frederick III were buried here in the choir (the body rests in St Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna).
