Kasten filial church in Vichtenstein: In a richly decorated church there is an altar with a crucifix on the wall above it. There are candles and religious statues on the altar. Wooden benches for the faithful are arranged around the altar.

The 800-year-old branch church dedicated to St James is well worth a visit.

The church is a small, formerly Gothic, but baroqueised church with a flat barrel-vaulted nave and a recessed choir with a straight end. The interior is neo-baroque. Remarkable is a red marble crucifixion relief from 1548 above the north door.

Can also be viewed from the inside.
