Anton Bruckner International School

Linz, Oberösterreich, Österreich
The Anton Bruckner International School (ABIS) of the Kreuzschwestern School Association is located in the heart of Urfahr and is housed in Upper Austria's tallest and most modern high-rise building, the Bruckner Tower.

Around 300 students from more than 50 countries and 32 teachers from nine nations are part of the Anton Bruckner International School, which is known for its international orientation. ABIS follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. Students can start at ABIS at the age of three in the Early Learning Centre (ELC), followed by the first five school years (6 to 11 years) as part of the Primary Years Programme (PYP). In the subsequent Middle Years Programme (MYP), which accompanies pupils until the age of 16, the focus is on interdisciplinary learning, which primarily serves as preparation for the IB Diploma Programme, comparable to the Austrian Matura. The IBO's student-centred programmes therefore promote healthy relationships, ethical responsibility and personal challenges. The international curriculum helps students develop the skills they need for their professional careers.

As an English-language educational institution with state-of-the-art technology, ABIS is thus setting a milestone for continuous, international education in Upper Austria.
