Linz becomes Brass
On the occasion of the European Brass Band Championships 2026 , the city center of Linz will be transformed into a huge brass mile with lots of music and atmosphere.
On Friday (April 24, from 12:00 noon) and Saturday (April 25, from 12:00 noon), the city center of Linz will be transformed into a huge brass mile with lots of music and atmosphere. Visitors can expect free admission to performances by brass bands, Upper Austrian military music, jazz & big bands, ensembles from Austria, Great Britain and the Netherlands.
The line-up includes OÖ Drumline, Snareforce, ensembles from the City of Linz Music School and the Upper Austrian State Music School and many more. Concerts will take place on Linz's main square and at several locations between the main railway station and the Brucknerhaus.
