KI-DIPFIES

06.03.2026 / 14:00- 18:00 (Further dates)
Linz, Memphis
Ausstellung, Kunstausstellung

KI-DIPFIES is a technosocial sculpture. It occupies the exhibition space as a control interface and configures an Upper Austrian party and candidates for the 2027 Linz mayoral election. It is in free-run until someone intervenes.

The artist collective Computer Lars (founder of the Synthetic Party and an anagram of Marcel Proust) fine-tuned Vitus Mostdipf's Sager as a first template and then refactored it into a community workflow: open to iteration and plurality of the audience.

Man passes the misery on to the machine. Structurally, the algorithm overfits. It inherits the tech dipf boilerplate of an idiomatic vernacular. At the same time, it renders home as 20th century nostalgia.

The initial parameters come from a triple palette: green to stay grounded; assertions that Linzers can test. White to keep the door open; no VIP tiers, no dress code, no jargon gatekeeping. And black to preserve the right to interrupt and punctuate authority with humor.

Can a plurality be the patch? You take control of the interface. Delete the program, generate new ones. You sign a name, click and leave it in the log. Create a candidate with your own errors. If you do nothing, KI-DIPFIES simply continues to hallucinate.
