When carnival reaches its peak, Linz's Südbahnhofmarkt is once again transformed into a place full of color, music and good cheer. On Saturday, February 14, 2026, the market invites visitors to the traditional carnival parade from 10:00 a.m. and offers visitors a cheerful spectacle in the middle of the market action.

The parade takes place across the entire market area and is organized by several regional carnival guilds. The Linz-Ebelsberg-Kleinmünchen, Thaling and Losenstein guilds will be taking part, creating a real carnival atmosphere with their imaginative costumes, lively performances and a foolish atmosphere.
