Wolfgang Mairinger: U18 meets Ü80

Let's call it "intergenerational encounters", which is what happened at HTL1 Bau und Design in Linz in fall 2023 and spring 2024.

16/17-year-old students from the graphics department photographed 80-year-old senior citizens in the school's own studio, where the right moment was important on the one hand and the trained eye captured the essentials on the other.
The results are digital photos in black and white with a wink, as the people were asked to bring along a personal object. Under the professional guidance of specialist teacher Arnold Walter, the oldie models - 6 women and 5 men - were put in the right light.
