Heast Bruckner. In German language. Austrofred dreams that he is Anton Bruckner. As Bruckner, he meets the Lord God in heaven and asks him to finally be allowed to see the Grossglockner from below. The Lord God reluctantly agrees and warns the composer that he will be recognized everywhere. He also asks Bruckner for something in return: he is to bring him contemporary music from his short trip around the world, as the Lord God's record collection only extends as far as Van Halen. For one day, Austrofred experiences a wild arrival in the world as Bruckner.In cooperation with the ORF Regional Studio Upper Austria, the Brucknerhaus Linz is showing Gerald Heidegger's short film Heast Bruckner. Before and after, Franz Adrian Wenzl alias Austrofred will read and talk about Bruckner and the Atalante Quartet will play his string quartet, which was composed in 1862 during his apprenticeship with the Linz theater conductor Otto Kitzler.
