In Ricochet, the spatial conditions of the OÖ Kunstverein appear as an active partner of the installation.
A mold behaves like a scanning eye that moves around an object - similar to a scanner. It turns positives into negatives and enables reproduction and copying. Photography works in a similar way.Emma Hummerhielm Carlén's work is located between the perceptual realms of seeing (photography) and spatial experience (sculpture) and brings the two back together in the exhibition space.
