Collective Drift

An annual exhibition of the Oberösterreichischer Kunstverein.

In times of political uncertainty and social tensions, collective spaces are becoming increasingly urgent. They are places of encounter, exchange and reflection - spaces in which we can really enter into dialogue with one another away from polarization and noise. Visual gestures in the space make thoughts, emotions and perspectives visible, open up new perspectives and create spaces in which questions arise and debates are initiated. Above all, art in collective space reminds us that participation, attention and reflection must be actively shaped in our society.
Art in the collective space is never just a backdrop; it demands presence.
