On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Feminist Book Club Linz and the Ars Electronica Center invite you to a reading of Katharina Köller's novel "Wild Wuchern" and visualizations by Janne Marie Dauer in Deep Space 8K.
Marie runs up a mountain in panic. Fleeing from a world in which everything is out of kilter, she seeks refuge with her cousin Johanna. Johanna, of all people, has been living like a hermit on a remote Tyrolean mountain pasture for years. Marie and Johanna couldn't be more different: Marie, the sharp-tongued Viennese, a creature of luxury from a world of luxury, at once spoiled and despised by her husband - and Johanna, who seems to have lost her tongue and left society behind when she grew up. Up there, an unusual trial of strength begins for the two women, a struggle for their self-image, but also for a common path.Ars-Electronica-Straße 1, 4040 Linz
