For the 27th time, the Oberkappler Vorweihnacht invites you to pause, enjoy and marvel on the fourth Sunday in Advent - an atmospheric festival for young and old!

The event begins at 14:00 in the church, where the local children enchant with lovingly prepared nativity plays and hermit hunts. Musical accompaniment from choirs and poetic contributions create a particularly contemplative atmosphere.

Afterwards, the festively decorated market square around the Bischofsbrunnen fountain is transformed into a lively Christmas market. You can look forward to:

• Homemade delicacies, waffles, sausages & mulled wine
• Highly spiritual specialties & regional products
• The life-size nativity scene of the cultural association
• Carriage rides for children
• A heated painting room (15:00-17:00)
• Appearance of Santa Claus at 17:00
• Musical accompaniment by a choir and brass & young wind band
