It was named after the Viennese painter Theodor Weiser, who stayed in Bad Kreuzen as a spa and summer guest around 1920. The path to the summit leads through the Pfarrerwald forest to the 1,000 guilder column on the Zulehnerbach stream. Now it's uphill, past the Mesnerhaus, up to the wooded Weiserhöhe (1,620m). Here you have a wonderful view of the village and over Clam Castle into Machland. To the east of the Weiserhöhe is the Franzosenkreuz in a birch grove. After this "summit happiness", the route continues along a field and goods path, which leads to the Kneipp path. Now you walk down a section of the Kneipp path, a short detour (approx. 50 metres) to the "Kricklberger Baumkreis Platzerl" is worthwhile. Continue along a forest path until you reach the bathhouses. Turn right here and follow the signposts back to Bad Kreuzen.
