In the Danube valley near the Jochenstein power station, the Haus am Strom welcomes all visitors in the form of a wave and a pebble. It offers highlights about water and the Danube valley. Built according to the latest findings in environmental technology, its theme is - naturally - water. Let yourself be fascinated by this matter that we take for granted and often regard as unspectacular. A special highlight in the Haus am Strom is the elevator, which is operated exclusively by Donau-Wasser using the sluice principle. You can watch this process up close through the glass cabin!
