This is where traditional craftsmanship meets modern hospitality, where guests are welcomed with open arms and can enjoy a view of the gently flowing Danube. In addition to his apple cider, certified cider sommelier Erich Aumüller is particularly proud of one thing: his pear frizzante called "Donauperle". Together with numerous other cider and juice varieties, the Donautaler Mostkellerei offers a comprehensive taste experience! Here, the cider tastes "almost like wine", which is particularly evident in the "fruit wines" - such as the "Hudler", a frizzante. The shrewd food refiner has planted vines directly behind his cider cellar in his parents' house in Grafenau in soil that the Romans already appreciated as a wine-growing area in the Danube Valley.
