A letter from the Upper Austrian Security Directorate in Linz dated 6 Feb. 1947 shows that the renaming of the regional beekeeping association to OÖ. Ortsgruppe Wesenufer, was not prohibited. In 1950, the beekeeping farm purchased dark honey at a price of 16.00/S per kg and the 1950s also saw the highest membership level of 34 members. The Waldkirchen Beekeepers' Association was founded in 1912. On 9 June 1912, the constituent meeting of the local group of the Upper Austrian Beekeepers' Association took place at the Gottfried Hörmandinger Inn in Waldkirchen.
