This 15th century Tower houses finds that were discovered in this area and document the area´s settlement from the Stone Age and the Bronze Age over the Hallstatt Era and Roman times to the early Medieval Era. Recently large-scale excavations took place at Windegg with the results now displayed at the Heritage Museum. Visitors also will learn interesting facts on the geology of the area.
