You´ll find the "Stone Cross" at the western boundary of Rufling on the road towards Dörnbach. The Cross first appeared in a historical map of the 16th century. Pillwein Benedikt (Linz 1824) reported that this was the gathering place of the farmers during the Farmer´s War of 1626. The Stone Cross is situated on the Kürnberg Cultural Hiking Trail (ESG Line #17).
