It was built as part of the construction of the flood dam. An observation tower provides a view of the fish ladder from above and offers a panoramic view of the Machland plains. The Aulehrpfad with its starting points in Naarn and Au/Donau is also interesting and worth seeing. It leads past cultivated areas into the alluvial forest.
