Our house is quietly and yet centrally located in the old town area of the beautiful baroque town of Schärding. If you look out of the window, you will see the Inn promenade, a paradise for walkers. On the Inn promenade you can walk upstream to the barrage of the St. Florian power station or downstream via Wernstein, on well-kept paths, to Passau. The cycle path along the Lower Inn European Reserve is a nature adventure trail from Salzburg via Schärding to Passau. Schärding can also offer you an excursion on the waters of the Inn - the salt prince ship "Gerda" runs daily, except Monday, to the Passau/Ingling barrage and back (journey time approx. 2 hours).
