City tour with Danube menu and boat trip

The city of Grein and the Danube are inextricably linked. The meeting point for this tour is the Old Town Hall on Grein's town square. Our guide will begin with an introduction to the town's history. You will then visit selected sights: the famous historic town theatre with its numerous curiosities and Greinburg Castle with its unique rooms, such as the late Gothic cell vault and the "Stone Theatre" (Sala Terrena). In the shipping museum at Greinburg Castle, you will gain an exciting insight into the history of shipping and life on the Danube in earlier times.
Back at Greinburg Castle, you can enjoy a break in the Schinakel café-restaurant directly on the Danube and have lunch. Afterwards, take a trip on the MS Donaunixe through the Strudengau - an unforgettable experience!
