1st day, Passau
Friday - individual arrival by train in Passau. Bus transfer from main station courtyard (ICE27 arrival at 4.34pm) to the ship. Boarding already starting at 4pm. Afterwards welcome snack and at 8pm departure to Wesenufer/Schlögen
2nd day, Schlögen - Linz
Saturday - Schlögen - Linz (53 km). Individual cycling tour past the "Schlögener Schlinge" across the uninhabitated "Engtal" near Kaiserau to Linz.
3rd day, Vienna - Hainburg
Sunday - Vienna or national park "Donauauen" (48 km). Individual city tour by bike from/to the ship (17 km) with route recommendation for car-free cycling paths. Alternatively from Vienna through the national park "Donauauen" to Hainburg.
4th day, Komárom - Štúrovo - Budapest
Monday - Komárom - Esztergom (56 km). Starting at the birth town of F. Lehàrs through small, dreamy villages via Moca to Esztergom. At 5pm tour in the cathedral of Esztergom. Across the "Gisela" bridge to the opposing Štúrovo.
5th day, Budapest - Szentendre
Thursday - Individual visit of Budapest & bike tour to Szentendre (38 km). 3pm trip by ship to the artist island Szentendre or cycling tour along the Danube Cycling Route right trough Budapest to Szentendre.
6th. day, Bratislava - Hainbrug
Wednesday - Sightseeing Bratislava & bike tour Bratislava - Hainburg (35 km).
Optional: city tour Bratislava +€ 5,-. Along the Danube Cycling Route to Devin across the new cycling bridge to Austria and the pompous castle "Hof". Further on to Hainburg with the most significant city fortification of Austria.
7th day, Krems - Ybbs
Thursday - Wachau (55 km). From Krems via Dürnstein and Spitz to the gothic city of Ybbs.
8th day, Passau
Friday - Disembarkation. Arrival in Passau at approx. 8.45am. Bus transfer to the main station (ICE28 departue at 11.24am).
