At Engelhartszell, you cross the Danube via the Jochenstein power station and cycle along the left bank to Schlögen with the famous Schlögener Schlinge. Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼hotel. **Family tip** - Visit the "Haus am Strom" (+ 6 km there and back from Engelhartszell, open daily from May to September 1st from 9:00 to 18:00; family ticket € 11 with 1 child; each additional child € 1). **Day 3, Schlögen - cycle tour (25 km)** Take the bike ferry (approx. € 2,- per person on site) to the other side of the river and from there on to Freizell. There you cycle over the bridge to Oberranna to the Roman excavations. Either on the same route or on the southern bank of the Danube (slightly hilly) back to Schlögen. Overnight stay as on the previous day. **Family tips:** - Short hike to the breathtaking Schlögen view (approx. 3 hours, 11 km) - Stop for a boat trip on the Danube - "Be a captain on the Danube" and then cycle upstream to Niederranna. **Day 4, Linz (40 km)** Cycle tour through the uninhabited valley near Kaiserau to Aschach and Ottensheim. From there, take the regional train to the provincial capital (payable locally; approx. € 8 per person + € 4 bike ticket). Linz - the capital of Upper Austria offers something special for our young and old guests.
