Day 1 - Individual arrival in Passau
You start your cycle holiday along the Danube in Passau, Germany. Check-in and you receive your travel documents in your hotel. Handover of your rented bike takes place in our bike centre. The best way to explore this beautiful city is during a journey on board a passenger ship across the River Danube, River Inn and River Ilz. Example of hotel: Hotel Passauer Wolf**** located directly in the old town of Passau and surrounded by traditional restaurants

Day 2 - From Passau to Obermühl, approx. 50 km
Along the Danube cycle path, you cycle downstream to Schlögener Schlinge. In the evening taste the Mühlviertler beer, enjoy a refreshing Frizzante “Danube Pearl” as an aperitif and a delicious 3-course dinner. Example of hotel: Gasthof Aumüller *** located on the Mühlviertel side of the Danube with a beautiful beer garden

Day 3 - From Obermühl to Linz, approx. 45 km
Along today's bike tour numerous traditional pubs in Upper Austria invite for a tasty so called “Brettljause” (Snack) and a Mühlviertler beer. “Cheers”! Enjoy the traditional Linzer Torte (cake) in a coffee house in Linz your final distance of today's bike route. Example of hotel: Hotel Prielmayerhof **** in Linz a few walking minutes away from “Josef's” beer garden.

Day 4 - From Linz to Ardagger, approx. 60 km
This stage along the Danube cycle path in Upper Austria has a lot to offer! Enns, the oldest town in Austria, untouched meadows and orchards until you reach Ardagger. Tip: The shop in the Cathedral Ardagger offers regional specialities. Example of hotel: Hotel Schiffsmeisterhaus*** restaurant with excellent inn culture

Day 5 - From Ardagger to Maria Taferl, approx. 45 km
Through the wild region of the Strudengau, along the Danube cycle path, you leave the beer country of Upper Austria and continue to the wine country of Lower Austria. Far away, the basilica of Maria Taferl greets the cyclists along the Danube cycle path. Enjoy the lovely prepared delicacies of the gourmet restaurant in the Hotel Schachner. Example of hotel: Hotel Schachner**** Gourmet Restaurant with a splendid panorama terrace

Day 6 - From Maria Taferl to Weißenkirchen, approx. 50 km
Today awaits you one of the highlights of this cycle holiday from Passau to Vienna: the Wachau Valley a well-known winegrowing region. The magnificent Melk Abbey marks the beginning of this region, which counts to the Austrian UNESCO world heritage. You cycle past numerous so-called wine taverns and through picturesque winegrowing villages such as Spitz and Weißenkirchen. Taste some rewarded Wachauer wines at the winegrowing estate. Example of hotel: Kirchenwirt**** in Weißenkirchen, lovely embedded in the surrounding vineyards

Day 7 - From Weißenkrichen to Vienna, approx. 45 km + train ride Krems-Tulln
You travel by train comfortable from Krems to the garden city of Tulln. From there you cycle your final bike tour along the Danube cycle path. The cycle tour leads you through the gate of Vienna via Klosterneuburg and the Viennese vineyards to Austria's capital. With a visit at the K&K pastry shop Demel ends your cycle holiday from Passau to Vienna. Example of hotel: Arcotel Kaiserwasser**** in Vienna located directly at the old Danube

Day 8 - Return to Passau or extra nights
Return from your cycling holidays along River Danube's cycle path to Passau, in Season A and B by train (transfer of your own bike not included), in season C by bus (transfer of your own bikes included) or on request by train (transfer of your own bikes not included).
