Many roads lead to the Danube

Travel flexibly and comfortably by car and discover the Danube region at your own pace.

- If you are coming **from Vienna**, take the A1 motorway (Vienna - Linz).
- If you **are** coming by car **from Munich or Regensburg**, take the A1 motorway (Salzburg - Linz) or the A8 motorway (Passau - Schärding - Linz).
- You can **travel toll-free** if you choose the Danube riverside roads from Passau, which, in addition to saving on tolls, also offer views of more countryside!
- If you are **travelling from Prague**, take the D4 and E49 or Route 4 to Passau and the D3 and E55 to Linz.
